Body of Man Found in Auto Near Woodward Oklahoma
The body of a man believed to be G. Adamson of Blackwell Oklahoma was found beside an automobile four miles west of Woodward late yesterday afternoon. A .38 caliber revolver was in his hand and a gunshot wound near the heart was found. Sheriff Ben Barnett said the car motor was still running when the body was discovered.

Rock Island Moves Wheat Into Storage Across Panhandle
Wheat movement on the Rock Island lines in the Panhandle is predominantly toward terminal elevators for storage. More than 90 percent is stored locally or in large city elevators, with about 10 percent sold and 44 moved to Gulf ports for export. Through Friday night 1103 cars of new wheat were loaded from Tucumcari to Shamrock and Amarillo to Liberal, with total Rock Island movement estimated between 1600 and 1800 cars this season. Farmers delay sales, stacking grain on farms or at rural elevators as rural storage fills. Harvest along the lines is roughly half complete and a heavier flow to urban terminals is expected soon.
