A UPI report from Santo Domingo states a special inter American panel found five more bodies near Victoria Penitentiary, raising to 14 the total known victims of indiscriminate executions since the April revolt. Investigators seek eight more bodies believed buried nearby, with details from witnesses and participants. Police in San Francisco fear armed supporters of Col. Francisco Caamano Deno are gathering in nearby hills.
The Revolutionary Cuban Student Directorate said two new rocket bases have been built in Cuba. One base is at Singuanea Bay on the Isle of Pines, with a large guard force protecting short and intermediate range rockets used to hold political prisoners.
