Flash Floods Kill At Least Three In North Texas
Severe storms drenched North Texas with over half a foot of rain in several areas and up to 15 inches in Parker County, driving people from homes. Rainfall totals reached 7.6 inches in Joshua and up to 5 inches in Tarrant and Burleson counties as floodwaters forced evacuations, closed highways, and filled shelters in Joshua, Godley, Burleson, and White Settlement. Red Cross mobilized relief trucks to aid up to 1,000 people daily.
