Pampa Man Shot in Hijacking Attempt
Edward Seymour of Pampa was shot and seriously wounded six miles west of Columbus Kansas by J E Gilmartin who said Seymour and a companion attempted to rob Gilmartin’s grocery and filling station. Seymour was found dumped from a car in front of Columbus City hospital an hour after the shooting. he had hitchhiked from Galena to Chicago.
