Three men were injured or killed in a violent afternoon near Pampa. W C Farquhar, Tulsa pilot and Spartan Aircraft demonstrator, crashed after snagging wires near Skellytown and burned. Ben Timken, Prairia Oil pumper, died at hospital from a self inflicted gunshot wound. C D Justice of Lefors was shot in the abdomen during a friend’s handling of a pistol and is reported to be recovering. No relatives information available.
