On a highway between Lubbock and Tahoka a new six cylinder sports car driven by Eugene Jackson veered, plunged a fence, and rolled. J. M. Weatherford, manager of the Igerita Hotel at Post City, died, his head nearly severed by barbed wire. Grace Stahl was fatally injured internally and severely cut, and Mrs. Jackson and M. T. Mitchell suffered serious bruises and cuts. all were hospitalized or reported wounded.

Four Men Die As Car Plunges From Hill
Four men from Flowery Branch Ga died when their car left the Gainesville Atlanta highway near Flowery Branch Ga and plunged down a steep embankment. The victims were J W Hunt Charles Harris Grover Crowe and William McKinney. Hunt reportedly drove the car and witnesses estimated speed at about fifty miles an hour.
