Liberty Kentucky July 25 tenant farmer Amos Turpin described his family’s struggle for survival and offered seven of his nine children for legal adoption. County Attorney Oliver Popplewell said the act could benefit the children and noted the brood are eager for schooling and better shelter. The children ages range from under two to 14 with Mollie 14 Orvill 12 Chester 9 Frankie 7 Bertha 5 Orella 3 and Louis under 2. Lyndon Children’s Home quota is full.
