Bellefontaine Ohio July 25 All wrecking crews and equipment worked tonight to recover possible bodies from 40 Big Four freight cars believed to hold 10 to 15 riders. The crash happened at 4 55 PM eight miles west of Bellefontaine cause not yet determined. Among those injured were William Boyer and conductor R E Wells. A group of 10 to 20 men boarded the freight at a bridge half a mile west of Bellefontaine.

They locked vice president P R Lawson in the vault with other officials and fled in a small car toward Louisiana.
