Weather Forecast For Panhandle And High Plains

Continued sunny skies in the Panhandle with highs near 96 to 100 across the region. A stationary front over Colorado and Kansas may trigger isolated thundershowers in the northern High Plains this afternoon, especially between 2 and 3 pm. Winds from the southwest at 12 to 20 mph. Amarillo reports a low around 71 and a high near 96. Outlook remains hot and dry Wednesday with isolated late afternoon storms in the far north.
