Man Who Bombed UN Surrenders in New Haven
Stephen J. Supino of Ashford Connecticut a 36 year old ex Army flier who dived a missile toward the United Nations headquarters surrendered in New Haven. He said he wanted to return to Lake Success to finish his fight for world peace and urged being turned over to police. He was booked as a fugitive and faced charges of possessing explosives likely to cause injuries with possible extradition to New York. Supino had dropped a red ink peace plea on Army discharge papers near the UN asembly and told reporters he hoped to spur action toward peace. His brother Thomas Supina Jr expressed relief at the surrender and said he would help.

Killers Captured After 14 Day Ohio Slay Ride Ends
Two 22 year old parolees ended a two week killing spree in Ohio leaving seven dead. One was killed at a road block near Van Wert after a final gunfight. the other surrendered. The victims included five men and two women. John Coulter West was slain by Van Wert officer Sgt. L D Conn who was wounded. Robert M Daniels of Columbus surrendered at Sheriff Ur Shaffer’s office. Daniels faced first degree murder charges for the Mansfield reform school killings. Daniels was moved to Mercer County jail in Celina as a precaution.

Youth Injured On Motor-Bike At Seventh and North Buchanan
Truman Williamson 15 was injured Friday night when his motor-bike collided with a car at Seventh and North Buchanan Avenue around 9 45. He sustained leg injuries and cuts but was not in serious condition. The bike had no lights. Another accident nearby involved a highway patrol car and a second car with minor damage. In a separate note Bethlehem Steel and Industrial Union of Marine and Shipbuilding Workers reached a wage agreement for 28 000 employees at nine East Coast yards.
