Heavy rains hit small section north of Dalhart
A heavy downpour drenched a limited area north of Dalhart late yesterday afternoon. The Fort Worth and Denver Railroad employees reported the rain beginning around 4 30 PM from Matlock two miles northeast of Dalhart to Perico, about 25 miles north on the Denver line, with intensity as high as eighteen inches in spots. Most of the North Plains stayed cloudy afterward with no other rain reports.
