Injuries Fatal After Being Run Over by Truck
George Taber aged 40 died from injuries after a loaded truck ran over him last Saturday. He died early yesterday in a local hospital. His body rests at Griggs funeral home as relatives in Kentucky await word. He left two sons and two daughters living in Kentucky and Oklahoma. The incident occurred when Weber fell beneath a moving truck delivering hogs to Amarillo.

Six Burned in Skelly Gas Well Explosion in Texan Field
In Pampa Texas five oil field workers were seriously burned at Skelly No 4 Schafer Ranch after gas escaped from the casing and exploded in the engine house. W W Clements was injured when he fell while removing debris, breaking an arm and likely a leg. J E Thrasher and T Chambless were among the most severely burned as Williams Weaver and Stewart suffered lesser burns. All were hospitalized.
