In Kansas City Mrs Eula Thompson 38 and W M McClure 55 were found dead after a shaft fall and a postmortem knife wound. McClure claimed Thompson fell in the shaft. investigators suspect suicide or foul play. The door shaft was left open and blood was found on the elevator. The deputy coroner offered a theory that McClure, fearing murder charges, killed himself. Surviving relatives include McClure’s widow and two daughters.

Search for Three Bandits Near Breckenridge Texas
Three highway bandits who robbed Lewis Hill near Hubbard Creek bridge yesterday noon and bound him were pursued by two counties officers near Breckenridge Texas. The getaway car was found later in an isolated pasture twelve miles from the scene.
