Man Fatally Injured In Truck Accident Near Amarillo
George Weber a 40 year old farm employee from 26 miles northeast of Amarillo was crushed under a loaded hog truck after slipping from the cab while guiding hogs. He suffered a ruptured bladder and other injuries. doctors fear he will not survive. He leaves two sons in Apache Oklahoma and two daughters in Kentucky.

Services Held for R L Mobley Pioneer Citizen
Funeral services were held for R L Mobley 56 a pioneer Amarillo dairyman who died Friday night after being struck by an automobile. Survivors include his widow four sons and two daughters. Two men face charges of murder and driving while intoxicated. He lived nine miles north of Amarillo and had resided there 22 years. Pallbearers named.

Two nine year old cousins Albert Norton and J D Norton drowned at Walker's crossing in Waco when they waded into water over their heads. They were visiting with the G E Norton family from Groesbeck on the Bosque River trip.
