Murder Suspect Tells His Story in Hale County
Jess Long confessed to killing W. B. Munger a 52 year old Hale County farmer after an argument over Munger’s threat to kill him. He said he shot Munger with a 12 gauge shotgun and led investigators to a well where the body was recovered. Long was arrested in Oklahoma after being named in a detective magazine wanted list and is indicted for murder.
