In Corsicana three Conant children aged 10 8 and 7 drowned wading in a tank on the B. T. Flight to Budapest Ends With Heroic Landing
Captains Alexander Magyar and George Endres completed a 3200 mile nonstop flight from Harbor Grace to Biscke Hungary in 26 hours. The Justice for Hungary monoplane landed on rough ground near a railroad track with a broken propeller and damaged wing. They reported refueling issues and a three hour storm, but emerged uninjured and were greeted by officials including Count Bethlen.
