Mrs. Geraldine Green will retire as dean of women of West Texas State College on August 31 after 19 years. Dr. J. A. Hill will announce her successor. Green, from Columbia University, will join her family in Harrisville, West Virginia after retirement. She praised by Dr. Hill as a major intellectual and cultural influence. Dr. Ona Jacks to join WTSC next year as part of Home Economics teacher training, on leave from a year as field secretary for the American Home Economics Association. Jacks comes after 13 years in Texas A&M extension and recently earned a PhD from the University of Texas.
