Five fourths of Hall County’s population will travel to Amarillo Wednesday morning to invite Potter County residents to the Memphis Golden Jubilee set for July 24 to 26. Memphis Chamber manager Carroll Smyers announced the plan and predicted a large turnout with the Jubilee band and local officials leading a Polk Street parade. Hall County residents have spent a year preparing for a large 50th anniversary celebration, promising one of the Plains’ biggest pioneer days in Greenbelt City next week.

Plainview Readies Mechanized Cavalry Parade and Concert
