Stratford Texas July 16 district court for Sherman County convened with Judge Dalhart presiding. Attending were District Attorney Sellars and Court Reporter Cooner, grand jury foreman R A Taylor, and a petit jury for the week. Noted attorneys include Alarrington Tatam Braly Moore Synnott Ayourn Hyde Rudolph Stahl and Cammack.
Cameron, a former member of the Cameron and Cameron mercantile firm, ended his life with a 44 caliber pistol at Clauderom near Cleburne. After two years of pulmonary tuberculosis he and his wife moved for relief. he acted while she briefly stepped away. Relatives arrived from Cleburne and departed with the body for burial.
