Prominent oil man dies from fall in Borger area

Second Youth Is Train Victim Near Channing
The accidental death of Walter Peach aged 18 of Rochester New York occurred along the Fort Worth & Denver tracks between Amarillo and Channing marking the second fatality in a week. His companion Walter Zerniak 22 watched as Peach slept on the tracks and was crushed by a passing train. Peach and Zerniak were traveling from Pueblo to Amarillo while Davis and Henson were en route from Denver.
