Five persons injured in a two-vehicle head on collision at Western Avenue and Canyon Highway at 2 15 yesterday afternoon. J C Birdwell and wife, Mrs J C Birdwell, Mrs W M Gibson, Mrs B C Birdwell, and J R Webster were treated. two vehicles, one a Santa Fe brakeman's car, were demolished. Mrs Birdwell unconscious for hours.
