Sheriff's posse sought two fleeing companions after an attempted robbery of Mrs Anna Ellison farm home.
Police joined relatives in a search for C. K. Graves oil operator from San Diego Texas who disappeared after arriving in San Antonio on Saturday. His brother H. J. Gravis traveled to San Antonio to lead the search.

Twenty one people are believed dead after the Italian steamship Attilio sank six miles off Cyrenaica near Eghazi in Italian North Africa. The 916 ton vessel carried 14 passengers and a crew of 16 plus wheat cargo and went down in three minutes after sounding warning of danger.
