Jim Bryant L. E. Radley and Ralph H. Taylor were given life terms by District Judge Luis Armijo after a jury convicted them of robbing the First National Bank of Santa Rosa on May 12. The case, tried since Monday, involved extensive witness testimony and a monthlong manhunt ending with arrests in Medicine Park Oklahoma.

Ysac Zamorez was seriously injured when a box car on a switch-track near the Rock Island roundhouse ran over him as he walked home from a recreation hall. His left foot and ankle were mangled and his right arm was severed above the elbow. the switch engine had to be recoupled to free him. He was taken to St Anthony's Hospital.
