Chicago July 10 The Farmer-Labor party executive committee announced it will not support Senator Robert M. LaFollette at the Progressive action conference. It approved withdrawals of Duncan McDonald of Illinois and William Rouch of Washington state and endorsed William Z Foster and Benjamin Gitlow of New York, workers party candidates.

Food Show Attracts Crowd In Amarillo Event At Polk Street
A large crowd attended the Ture Food Show and Industrial Ex position sponsored by the Amarillo Advertising and Sulesmanship Club at 705 707 Polk Street. Jeff Potlock led a band with Miss Lola Wright and others. Spanish dances by Miss Zallee Williams and Miss Chloris Ely followed. A Panhandle Mattress Company cotton mattress was auctioned for the Children's Home, bought by Howard Trolinger for 30 dollars. A baby show drew 84 entrants with 200 total attendees. Winners included Julia Ann Odor and Margery Ann Maberry for girls and Paul Lloyd Hoover and Winnette De Grassi for boys. An error was noted in yesterday’s baby show awards.
