Amarillo Lightning Fatality Kills Clara Pate at Intersection
A bolt of lightning killed Clara Pate, 23, of Amarillo, at the North East Tenth Avenue and North Taylor Street crossing. Cousin Horace Miller survived with burns after being knocked to the mud.
