Madelyn Fay Lutz, 12, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Lutz of 328 West Studebaker, drowned at Thompson Park pool around 2:30 p.m. in the park’s first pool drowning. Witness Mark Halpin, 16, of 6202 Elmhurst, saw her floundering, jumped in, and found her submerged for a long time. The drowning is the latest in a series of three recent weeks.
