North Korea denounced American armed intervention in Korea as bare faced aggression in a UN note written in Russian. Signed by Pak Hen Nen the note accused the United States of meddling and was among the harshest North Korean protests received, though North Korea is not a UN member. The UN circulated the protest to the Security Council members, including Russia.
Senator Fulbright charged the Reconstruction Finance Corporation with investing 975000 of taxpayer money in a Reno casino at the Mapes Hotel. Cecil B. Ivester, 50, an electrician at Continental Carbon, was found dead of a .22 rifle wound in his Dumas home. Justice of the peace ruled death a gunshot related to personal safety. His wife discovered the body this morning. funeral arrangements were pending at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
