Two-Car Wreck Kills Two In Fort Worth Area Pattern
Third and Grand location cited as multiple crash sites. A two car collision near East Third and Grand injured Amarillo residents, sending R L Evans 37 Judy Evans 31 and Mrs J W Tallant 25 to St Anthony’s Hospital. Evans suffered deep leg lacerations and shock, Mrs Evans scalp injuries, Tallant minor injuries. James Tallant 26 and a Evans child uninjured. Police say Jeepster failed to stop and struck the Tallant car, scene 6 55 pm yesterday. Earlier last Thursday and Friday car train crashes at Fort Worth and Denver crossing killed Billie Massengale 26 and Jasper Franklin Thomas 22.

Two Killed and Four Injured in Noon Wreck Near Plainview
A noon head on collision eight miles southwest of Plainview on Highway 87 killed William T. Davidson Jr. 18 of Lubbock and Gary Garrett of Plainview and left two other men Donald Reeves 18 and Rodney McCafferty 19 both of Lubbock Route 2 and Route 3 in critical condition at Plainview Hospital Foundation. The Garrett car was driven north and overturned. Injured are Mrs Garrett and son Tommy 4. Funeral plans for the Garrett infant are pending.

Mother of Amarillo Man Dies In Shamrock Crash
Mrs Sally Johnson 69 of Dewar Oklahoma died after a Highway 86 crash 4 miles west of Shamrock Saturday night. Her son Robert W Johnson 33 of Amarillo lived and three Johnson children were injured. Bertram Melton 30 of Shamrock driving a truck collided with their stopped Chevrolet during a blowing dust storm.
