Fourth of July In Amarillo Set For Free Fireworks

Reconstruction of Silverton Delayed

Rugged Texas trek ends in rescue near Big Bend National Park
Mrs Wilma White of Houston survived a six day ordeal in Big Bend badlands after her husband Clifford died from exhaustion and heat trying to reach her. She was flown to Alpine then hospitalized and later cared for at a tourist court. She described a brutal, sunburned, bruised experience.
