Lieut. Robt. H. Gray announced plans to fly from Amarillo to Sydney then toward Honolulu to win a 35000 prize and set a new world non stop record. He aims to raise 16000 for a plane and expenses with a 12500 ship cost and a 1700 already promised. He plans a solo two day Honolulu stop in a single engine monoplane from Amarillo.
