Dead Man and Injured in San Angelo Wreck
J W Williams of near Sunray was killed and W A Innis of 1406 North Pierce suffered serious injuries in a car crash on Highway 87 about 20 miles north of San Angelo. Innis, 24, hospitalized in San Angelo with facial and body lacerations and a broken left wrist, condition improved by yesterday. The wreck occurred about 10:30 Tuesday night. the car was found 110 yards from the highway after occupants were thrown from the vehicle. Williams, about 38, a farmer and rancher northeast of Sunray, died later Tuesday night. Survivors include his widow Velma Williams, two children Rex and Christine, and brother W R Williams of Sunray.
