W L Harrington 78 native Texan and one of the Plains early settlers died today. Born in Collin County in 1858 he moved to Seymour in 1887 then Amarillo for the first lot sale. he had lived in Hale County since 1889. Survivors are daughters Mrs L J Slagle Corpus Christi and Mrs J C Anderson Houston formerly Amarillo. Funeral services set for Friday.
