In Plainview a 15 year old bride Mrs Harrell F Alvord was killed when a twin 3 640 gallon tank truck plunged off Highway 87 and flames engulfed the scene. Her husband Harrell F Alvord badly burned but surviving. The couple had left Lubbock for Cosden refinery with gasoline. Funeral services will be held at Lubbock Cavalry Baptist Church.
