Area Men To Aid Missonaries In Peru
Seven area men from Plainview and nearby towns joined a larger group for a Peru mission project. Led by Rev. Walter Crow they travel to Lima to help construct a Nazarene mission church and return by February 6. The crew includes Lawrence Lowe Darvin Nelson Walter Seler Rev Terry Connally Keith Jackson Bill Gary and Rev Charles Mulhuff with skills in piano tuning and vehicle repair parts for missionary use.

Moore SPS Employees Honored For Safety Record
The Southwestern Public Service Co. in Moore County won first place for its production safety record in 1975 with 1 048 766 man hours worked without a lost time injury. A celebratory dinner is planned at K Bobs Steak House where George Dupree will present the trophy to plant manager Bill Cartrite. Cindie Powell of Dumas High School earned a $1,000 Lub bock Christian College scholarship based on her ACT score and plans to study Engineering.
