Austin January 21 Road bonds of 150000 for an 18 mile extension of highway 117 from Stinnett in Hutchinson county to the Hansford county line were approved by the attorney general. This paves the way for a paved Amarillo north plains route nearer the Oklahoma line, with extensions planned through Spearman and Perryton toward the Texas Panhandle Oklahoma boundary.

Airport Beacon Saves Three Lost In Blizzard
