Painless Taxes May Pay Vets Painlessly
Rep. Roger Q. Evans of Denison proposed a painless tax plan to raise 300 to 460 million dollars for Texas veterans bonuses. The 18 year old Anthony Trabasso was found dead in Brooklyn with a large swastika and Nazi inscription carved on his chest and abdomen. Crash Kills Chicago Man En Route to Amarillo
A 34-year-old Chicago man, Gilbert W. Porter, died of chest and head injuries after his car was sideswiped by a pickup on Highway 66 six miles west of Adrian. His wife Elizabeth and two children survived. Porter’s body was to be returned to Oakland, Illinois. The pickup driver was Cecil L. McClenton of Amarillo.
