Port Arthur Chiropractor Convicted in Kidnapping Case

Beaumont report: Dr. W G Welch, a Port Arthur chiropractor, is found guilty of abducting 11 year old Irwin Mingle and given a 15 year prison term. The boy was taken from his home December 7 and later found in the attic near Welch’s residence.

Winters To Present Master Road Plan In County

County Commissioner John Winters will discuss a proposed master road plan with the Texas Highway Commission in Austin next Monday.
