Hospital Chief Is Due Today
Dr. O. E. Herndon, named manager of the new two million dollar United States Veterans Hospital, is due to arrive in Amarillo this afternoon from Washington DC and Tuscaloosa Alabama. He previously served as chief medical officer at a federal hospital in Tuscaloosa and as an official at the veterans' hospital in Columbia. The government is expected to accept the new hospital buildings around February 1.
