Turpin of Arlington donated a pint of her blood at Cook Memorial Hospital to help her 18 year old son William Turpin of North Texas Agricultural College after a knife wound to the neck. Doctors said further transfusions would be needed as initial hope rose for William. The stabbing stemmed from a feud over a notebook with Orren W. Sisco, 18, expelled for assaults earlier this week and jailed on assault to murder charges.
