Last rites will be said at 2 o'clock this afternoon from Griggs Funeral Chapel for Arthur Walker a 65 year old pioneer cowboy and veteran railroad man. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr Walker died at a local hospital Saturday morning of pneumonia. He was a livestock agent for the Fort Worth and Denver Railway and began railroad work in 1898.

Approximately 1,000,000 acres would be needed for refugee resettlement in Texas. The Guild has funds to buy land not near cities. Captain Winfield Holbrook of the Texas Land and Development Company says 10,000 acres could be provided in one community, with additional land from other owners possible through sales.
