District judges enjoining liquor board activities may be summoned to Austin to explain to legislators. State Liquor Administrator Bert Ford said several lawmakers discussed the course. Two Identified in Texas Abduction
Fort Worth eyewitness Richard Haggard of Dallas identified two men as the pair who abducted him in Dallas and released him in Fort Worth after a trip through East Texas. Detectives later detained the suspects, aged 30 and 31, on suspicion they burglarized a local plumbing plant for $1,000. He said they forced him into his car during a Dallas traffic stop and escorted him to Nacogdoches, where the burglary occurred, then to Houston before releasing him in Fort Worth.
