May Fly At Speed Near Sound With Existing Engines
Langley Field Va Jan 15 The design of an airplane to fly 544 miles per hour close to the speed of sound and 121 miles over the world record using existing engines is revealed. The plan by John Stack of the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics appears in the first issue of the Journal of the Aeronautical Sciences edited by J C Hunsaker MIT.

French Plane Crash Kills Five Officials at Corbigny

1928 Stabbing Case Opens at Childress
