Two men and a woman who kidnapped Deputy Sheriff Joe Chapman from Florence Arizona last night surrendered near Laveen after a gun battle at Chandler. They were identified as Irene Schroeder Glen Cage and J W Crawford linked to a Pennsylvania patrolman’s slaying. A hundred posses closed in, the fugitives barricaded, and refused surrender until they faced force.
