A relief appropriation bill of 100 million dollars was approved following another request by Welson and related parties. The action centers on funding adjustments tied to the Biria Reed initiative and related stakeholders.
The U S House passed a $100,000,000 famine relief measure for Europe outside Germany by a 240 to 73 vote after President Wilson urged aid as a key to peace.
