Funeral arrangements for R A Haley who was killed when his car was struck by a Fort Worth and Denver passenger train are not yet complete. The body lies in state at Griggs Funeral Home, with services to be announced. Haley, born February 8 1863 in Georgetown Texas, lived in the Concho Colorado country and Panhandle before settling in Paint Rock Texas. He and wife Adelia Curie celebrated their fifty first wedding anniversary before Christmas. The coroner's inquest noted flattened engine wheels from skidding and that flagmen failed to attract his attention. The engineer J M Ashford of Wichita Falls was absolved in both accidents.
