Spokane Wash has its new coliseum now operating at full blast. It cost 20 million dollars, seats 9 000, and is praised as a dazzling modern hall by Life Magazine. The city reports high attendance, strong out of town draw, and immediate profitability, contrasting with Amarillo's stalled efforts.
