Jet Hijacked To Cuba Returns Safe To Miami
A gunman in African style clothes hijacked an Eastern Air Lines jet with a boy as hostage and demanded Cuba. He threatened to kill the child if not allowed to depart for Havana. Captain Dennis Vanhuis flew the plane from Cuba to Miami with passengers and crew unharmed. The 2 year old, Allan Levy, and his mother Beverly Levy later joined 122 others arriving in Miami.
