Burglars Take Negro Janitor And $3,000
In Chillicothe two stores were robbed of checks and cash totaling nearly 3000 dollars Monday night. A janitor, described as a Negro, was abducted and held until the burglars neared Vernon. Sheriff Bralley sought the suspects from Wichita Falls to Chillicothe. About 2700 to 2800 dollars came from pay checks issued by the Chillicothe Oil Company to employees and cashed at the scene.

All Involved In Bridge Collision Expected To Recover
Reports from Marlin say all 13 Lone Star Gas company employees injured when a truck struck a bridge railing last night will recover. Three or four were seriously hurt, while the rest escaped with bruises.
