Ice Cream Plant Employee Injured In Fall
Horton Thomas of 3819 Buchanan street employed by Steffen Ice Cream Company was injured in a fall from a ten foot scaffold at the plant at 2000 West Sixth street early Friday. He climbed the scaffold to replace pipes that are cleaned nightly, fell onto heavy machinery and tumbled to the floor, sustaining bruises with no suspected broken ribs and little danger of internal injury. He was taken to Northwest Texas hospital for treatment.
