Hartley Man Hit by Train Uninjured
A small sedan owned and driven by A M Marshall Hartley was struck by a Fort Worth Denver freight train at a Hartley crossing at 9 40 Thursday morning. The car suffered slight damage and the driver was not hurt. Marshall did not see the train until too late to stop despite a clear view of the track.

Adolphus Busch Orthwein, 13, grandson of August A. Busch, was kidnapped by a Black assailant New Year’s Eve and returned unharmed to his parents. Grade crash claims nine lives near Chicago at grade crossing

It will come within 16,000,000 miles of Earth this month as astronomical observatories track its movements in a world cooperative program.
